The upgrade to the Tundra brake caliper and rotor gives you a few distinct upgrades and improvements. Already with the larger 13WL calipers, you are adding additional volume to the system. As for whether you need the new lines or not - when you do the Tundra upgrade, you're introducing a caliper (13WL or 13WE) with more internal volume than the stock calipers. To Toyotas credit, the new 231mm caliper and pad combo worked much better. I put together a page that lists wheels that are known to work with the Tundra Brake Upgrade. Toyota says to bleed from furthest to closest, so Rear Proportioning Valve, then RR, LR, RF, LF is the correct order. hello, i just did the swap yesterday along with replacing my abs sensors on my 994r.
